Larry Gamboa born in Los Angeles, California of Mexican decent has been playing music since his teenage years. He has performed throughout the western states. Growing up from a family of musicians he has been exposed to various instruments throughout his whole live. He learned to play keyboards, drums and guitar prior to picking up the bass.

      As a teenager he started playing backyard parties and moved in quickly into the night club circuit at a very young age. Larry and his brothers formed a family band as a hobby. He started to work as a hired gun for various bands throughout southern California.

      As he continued his career as a professional bass player, his dream was to have his own group to manage.  He then formed KAOS and has since been the leader of the group.

  Here are some of his accomplishments:

    He has worked and played for Sheila E, The Intruders, Mary Wells, El Chicano, Thee Midniters, The Coasters, The Drifters and Tierra just to name a few. He has worked on various projects throughout California at various recording studios. He has performed in front of thousands of cheering fans with a variety of bands all along the West Coast.
